Happy 2025. I have been struggling to write long-form content. But this new year, I received a push from my friends (S/O to Riya, Clerisa, Simran) to push against the barriers, and just write. So, here I am - putting pen to paper on some personal realizations lately. I hope you will relate, and this time - my weapon of choice is bullet points.
the fallacy that outputs = outcomes is a fallacy that costs grief. the day you realize that your outcomes are a factor of externals - access, capital, privilege, hell - even serendipity; is the day you lose hope. that loss, is either liberating or completely devastating.
in an era where virality is currency - know that it is your attention that inflates mediocre ideas. So the next time you're engaging with a "trending" piece of content, question if you're the one putting it on a pedestal.
we’ve built echo chambers out of the opinions, feeds, conversations, algorithms, and even thoughts - so much so that lack of homogeneity sparks anxiety. Before our dreams turn into templates, it is time we figured a way out.
when we’re younger - our identity capital stems from what our caregivers label us. as we grow older, our identity capital gets defined by what we truly want to be. whether we’re faking it or figuring it out - i hope it serves us with sanity.
when life gives you lemons, you want to make lemonade. if you often get stuck at the how, don’t panic. the answer is often tougher than the what. If only it made for a pretty postcard quote - someone would take a stab at answering it.
we’re living on the internet more than ever, with lesser footprints on grass. build intentional memory palaces for the undocumented simplicities, for if it didn’t happen on the internet, it will not exist in the future.
do you often feel like you got the lower end of the bargain? comparison is a negative sum game, but it is easier to feel cheated than to realize you don’t know what would make you happy.
imagine you own an art gallery - and you’re the only person visiting. what photographs do you put up on the wall when no one’s looking? make more of those.
it’s easy to believe collective realities because questioning it requires fighting the wave. go ahead, pick your battles. hoping to win them all would be setting yourself up for madness.
there’s one thing that new intelligence cannot account for - oddities, eccentricities and impulse. There isn’t a better time to be radical, if it means being who you are. you have more than ever to win.
until next time.
Well captured Stuti! Waiting for you to write more and read:)
